Bay of Fires / East Coast    December 2012

Walk review from John, Bay of Fires / East Coast Tasmania

3 friends and I completed the BOF trek from 27 to 30 Dec 2012.

Our guides were Cody and Diana.

All four of us had a fantastic experience and really enjoyed our time on the trek. It was a relaxing, fun and refreshing experience. This was particularly due to our excellent guides.

Cody's enthusiasm, knowledge and sense of fun ensured that all members of our group had an entertaining and enjoyable experience. He is hilarious and has a warm and inclusive manner. Di's warm and friendly nature and her obvious appreciation and enjoyment of the environment also encouraged us all to enjoy our beautiful surroundings. Although relatively new to the job, she was wonderful. Tom was a relaxed and inviting host at the lodge, and his cooking was truly outstanding. Our time at the lodge was really enjoyable, thanks largely to the hospitality and atmosphere that Tom creates.

Your staff really are fantastic at what they do and helped us enjoy a fantastic experience.

This is our first experience of walking along beaches. We enjoyed very much. We have so many unusual but pleasant experiences. 1. One night with no electricity. No light but sound of ocean. 2. No man-made debris on the beach. …    Continue
