What's it like to be a guide?
"I love guiding at TWC because I get to explore incredible landscapes, swim in crystal blue water, hang out with interesting people and get paid for it! The job offers flexibility and is perfect if you are studying or want to intersperse work with travel. Guiding is a great opportunity to further your communication, leadership and relationship-building skills, and you get to meet people from all over Australia and the world. The team you will work with is a bunch of like-minded legends, most with a passion for the outdoors that is contagious. The best part is getting to walk along beautiful, empty, white beaches or through mossy, damp rainforests and see the excitement on your guests’ faces, who are likely experiencing it for the first time."

We work to deliver a truly immersive experience as we create connections between people and places in remote cultural landscapes through our boutique multi-day walking experiences. Whilst our roots lie in Tassie, we operate on mainland Australia as The Australian Walking Company and are excited to be experiencing a growth phase in the business as we introduce a number of new walks in the Northern Territory and Kangaroo Island.
