Accommodation:
On Night 1, guests stay at Hobart's MACq 01 after a night of storytelling from Sally. For the follwoing two nights we stay at Tasman Camp, a private eco-camp nestled into the coast on the Tasman Peninsula.
Group Size:
Small group for an intimate experience (Maximum of 14 guests). Each trip will also have 2 expert guides.
Start/Finish Times:
Please make your way to MACq01 by 5pm on Day 1 of the tour for your Welcome Meeting and Gear Briefing at 6pm followed by dinner at 7pm. At the conclusion of your walk, we offer a Hobart airport drop off by 5pm before arriving back at our Hobart walk base at approximately 5:15pmPack weight:
One of the great aspects of this itinerary is that we return to camp both nights so there’s no need to carry a heavy pack while walking. The rest of your luggage can be kept at camp, however, as we will be using a number of different forms of transport we ask that you bring no more than the standard carry on size allowed by airlines. Please arrange to store any extra luggage you may have in Hobart.
Fitness requirements:
Our walks can be challenging at times, but easy enough to be within most people's ability. We recommend that you be in good health and be moderately fit to undertake the trip. We cover about 14km on day two, with shorter walks on the other days. As each trip has two guides, we are able to split the group according to ability if necessary, challenging the fit walkers without pressuring walkers who prefer a more leisurely pace.
Food:
All meals and snacks are provided. On Night 1, you'll dine at the Old Wharf Restaurant, and on Nights 2 and 3, your guides will prepare delicious meals at Tasman Camp. Our breakfasts and lunches are fresh and nutritious, designed to fuel you for the walking days ahead. We use fresh Tasmanian produce, and evening meals are served with a selection of Tasmanian wines. We're happy to cater for special dietary requirements—we just ask that you let us know in advance.

Day 1: Welcome to Hobart & Storytelling at MACq 01

Your journey begins in Hobart, where you’ll check into the elegant and story rich MACq 01 Hotel. In the evening our guides will you for a welcome meeting, including a gear check and a rundown of the hiking adventure ahead.

Then, the spotlight shifts to Sally Hepworth as she gives you a personal overview of what’s to come from her side — think storytelling, behind-the-scenes author insights, and meaningful connection. Over a delicious two-course dinner at the Old Wharf Restaurant, you'll settle in for a relaxed Q&A with Sally. We’ll have gathered your questions before arrival so she’s ready to dive into everything from her writing process and publishing journey to favourite books and creative sparks. It’s your first taste of the vibrant book club energy that will carry through the trip

Day 2: The Three Capes Track Begins - Audiobook Adventures & Crescent Bay Conversations
Approximately 3-4 hours walking
After coffee and a casual meetup at MACq 01, the group will set off on the iconic Three Capes Track. We’ll travel to the Tasman Peninsula by boat, catching that first rush of fresh sea air before hitting the trail.

The day’s walk features the Remarkable Caves section, a scenic and soul-stirring start. Along the trail, we’ll begin the first listening session of Sally Hepworth’s latest audiobook — a moving, immersive way to pair the power of place with the intimacy of story. We pause at stunning Crescent Bay for a picnic lunch and our first group book club-style discussion, guided by Sally herself. In the late afternoon, we arrive at our coastal camp, where there's time to unwind, shower, and soak up the scenery. Then, as the sun dips, we gather for “Bubbles & Books” — a pre-dinner session of oysters, sparkling wine, and conversation about the books that changed your life. Sally will open the discussion, and the magic unfolds from there. The evening wraps up with a generous dinner and good company under the stars.

Day 3: Cape Raoul Challenge, Deep Listening & Book Club Connection
Approximately 5-6 hours walking
This is the most challenging and rewarding day of the walk, covering around 16 kilometres to and from the dramatic Cape Raoul. With wild cliffs, open sky, and the Southern Ocean roaring below, it’s a day to push your limits and let your mind wander.

Midway through the walk, we cue up the next section of Sally’s audiobook for another immersive listening session on the move. After a scenic trailside lunch, we press on before arriving back at camp in the late afternoon — perhaps with time for a bracing ocean swim. As the golden hour sets in, it’s time again for “Bubbles & Books,” where Sally leads a final group discussion based on the latest section of the book. These campfire-style conversations bring the stories to life in a fresh, shared way that only happens when you walk, listen, and reflect together. The night rounds out with delicious platters and a hearty dinner to refuel body and soul.

Day 4: Final Q&A, Waterfall Bluff Walk & Bangor Vineyard Farewell
Approximately 3-4 hours walking
Our final morning begins with a relaxed Q&A session with Sally Hepworth over coffee at camp. This is your chance to ask all your lingering questions — whether you're dreaming of writing your own novel, navigating plot holes, or just curious about how Sally brings her characters to life.

Based on field team feedback, we’ve made this a dedicated session so everyone can get involved and inspired. By 10am, we lace up one last time for a beautiful walk to Waterfall Bluff, a peaceful and fitting finale to the Three Capes Track experience. Then it's off to Bangor Vineyard, where we’ll toast the journey with a long, delicious lunch and perhaps a glass of wine (or two). We return to Hobart in the late afternoon, with drop-offs at MACq 01 or the airport between 4-5pm. If flying out, be sure to book your departure after 5pm to allow time for a smooth transition.

Limited Edition Walks - Terms and Conditions
Our standard booking terms and conditions apply to all bookings. In addition:
- Cancellations
- more than 90 days from the scheduled departure date, a fee of $350 per person will be charged with the balance payment refunded;
- within 90 days of departure, no refund is available. Bookings are transferrable to another name.
- Children younger than 8yo will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Private Group Rules
- Full capacity paid for regardless of number of walkers
- Final payment is due 90 days prior - if places are unpaid for at this date they are released to the public
- Guest information forms are due 30 days prior to departure.

Single supplement
Each tent contains either 1 king size bed or 2 singles. Single travellers may be required to share a twin room with another walker of the same gender if the departure fills to capacity. To guarantee a private tent for the duration of our walk, a supplementary price of 75% of full fee. This needs to be requested at the time of booking.
Public Holiday Surcharge
If your departure falls on a public holiday an increased walker rate will be automatically applied to your departure to cover the increased cost of operation.
