Cradle Mountain / Overland Track    November 2014

Walk review from Arthur, Cradle Mountain / Overland Track Tasmania

My wife and I have just returned from Tasmania after doing the Cradle Mountain Huts walk commencing on 8 November last and finishing on 13 November.

We just wanted to let your company know that it was one of the most enjoyable holiday experiences my wife and I have enjoyed. Right from the time of being collected by your bus at our hotel when we were a bit nervous about what was ahead of us, and met our fellow travellers to our sad farewells six days later, especially the personal touch from the guides, it was all first class. What made it all the more enjoyable was the two guides who accompanied us. James and Tim were just fantastic. They obviously were very skilful in everything they did but they were also very knowledgeable about the magnificent world heritage listed national park. They were able to provide information about the history and geography of the park, the fauna and the wildlife. They were able to make us all feel comfortable and provided encouragement when necessary. Basically we were spoilt the whole time. Karen described their packs as Mary Poppins bags because of all the goodies they kept pulling out of them.

Your company, with James and Tim, have enabled Karen and I to experience the overland track which under any other circumstance was outside our capabilities.

Your company should be congratulated for establishing an exceptional eco-tourism adventure. It is a great example to other businesses, including mine, about providing service.

If possible, could you please pass on Karen and my congratulations to the Directors of the company and its staff. In particular, could you please convey our thanks to James and Tim for providing us with such a wonderful experience.
