Amazing strenuous walks in the Tasmanian Outback with stunning scenery in the rainforest, through plains of button grass, up rocky ascents and a magical day of waterfalls and streams with wallaby sightings. We had 9 people from all walks of life and ages and physical fitness. The huts were warm (1 hut was a bit cold), the sleeping bags /beds comfortable, drying rooms were much appreciated, a hot shower and good food for dinner prepared by Emily and Chloe. The guides told us about the flora and fauna. I was the slowest at age 62 but no one made me feel bad, Em and Chloe were encouraging me. We had all weather, sun, rain and snow which made the trek all that more special. I finished! I would definitely do another trek with this outfit. They were organized, prepared and well outfitted.
