Walk review from Helen Hamilton-James, Bay of Fires / East Coast

My 15 year old daughter and i did the 3 night/4 day Bay of Fires guided walk just before Christmas and had a wonderful trip.

We were lucky enough to have 3 excellent guides, Molly, Lily and Dave who were great fun, very knowledgeable and seemed to be endlessly working to look after us (which was much appreciated). The scenery was amazing and the food and wine on the trip were exceptional. We'd also highly recommend the spa at the bay of fire lodge - it was top quality. The walking was not too hard - there was a lot of beach walking but plenty of opportunities to go for a swim in the ocean and the day kayaking was lovely and allowed for a change of pace. The pre- walk briefing and access to rucksack and wet weather gear was helpful and the walk finished with a lovely glass of bubbles and some cheese back at the HQ. All in all a fabulous trip.
