Cradle Mountain / Overland Track    March 2010

Walk review from George and Annette, Cradle Mountain / Overland Track

We hoped this walk would be special, and it was, and more.

Aside from the beautiful and inspiring natural scenes we were part of for 6 days, this walk brought to life the stories of some of the people who pioneered trekking and living in this region. We appreciated their toughness enduring without the modern comforts we enjoyed. This trip also gave us a really enjoyable connection to 8 new friends. We were proud to reach the top of Mt Ossa as a group, with everyone making it. We can't praise our guides John and Nick enough for their humour, interesting conversation, and unflagging patience and hard work. The food was great and complemented those nightly glasses of Tassie wine we all enjoyed so much! Well done Anthology, John and Nick.
