Cradle Mountain / Overland Track    March 2012

The Overland track matches what is available in NZ

A group of ten of us did the walk guided by Mim and Shelly.

Our guides were awesome, two very exceptional young people who added so much in many aspects to the trip. From Cradle Mountain to Lake St Clair is some of the most striking country you will ever see. It is our heritage as Australians which we can share with the rest of the world. Our group has walked in NZ and some thought prior to the walk that the scenery could not match that on offer in NZ. The Overland track scenery certainly matches what is available in NZ. The huts, food, and general management of the trip is first class and works very well. I did not hear one single complaint or criticism from any member of our group. Perhaps they could put a railway through, cut down a few trees to improve the view, and have spit roast roo one night for dinner (just kidding Mim)
