Cradle Mountain / Overland Track    March 2016

Walk review from Karlene, Cradle Mountain / Overland Track Tasmania

Have done lots of walking overseas and wanted to do this walk before we got too old.

An amazing experience thanks to Dayna & Declan (guides). Their knowledge, fitness, and caring support (slight melt down halfway up OSSA by moi - but I made it!) was amazing. Their banter & humour was so funny too. Had the best weather. For someone with a dodgy back the attention to pack positioning was much appreciated. One of the highlights was having a pigmy possum lick and "nibble" my had for about 20 mins at one of the huts. Great food. Trip exceeded our expectations.
