Bay of Fires / East Coast    January 2019

Walk review from Pip Nicholson, Bay of Fires / East Coast Tasmania

Together with my partner, I joined the Bay of Fires walk in January 2019 with 6 others.

We had a fabulous walk. The scenery is variable coastal: beaches; dunes; grasslands and lagoons. The walk is very manageable and made a joy by your two expert guides who, after stewarding you safely to your destination, turn around and cook delicious dinners. We swam at secluded beaches, ate local plants, talked about the wildlife, including birds, and collapsed into hot showers and very comfortable beds, particularly at the Lodge. I cannot recommend this walk highly enough.
