The walk with Cradle Huts was an awesome experience; it exceeded all my expectations!
First of all there is obviously the indescribably beautiful nature, the sheer wilderness and the feeling of being far away from anything. I was completely overwhelmed by the beauty and variety of landscapes! Bear in mind that Switzerland is only 2/3 the size of Tassie but has 15 times the population, I.e. it is densely populated and it is difficult to find so much untouched wilderness.
But then of course the whole experience would not have been half as good without the outstanding contributions of the guides Alyssa and Nick who did an absolutely fabulous job in pampering the group in any possible way. Their knowledge of the area, flora and fauna seems unlimited and they were fabulous hosts and chefs! They went out of their way to make the walk as enjoyable as possible for us and I would like to take the opportunity to once again thank them very much for their support and hospitality!
My favourite part of the walk was the section between Waldheim and Lake St Clair!
