The Overland Track is beautiful!
I totally loved every part of it. It is a must do for anyone who likes bushwalking and hiking.
Walking it with Cradle Huts made it even more pleasurable. The hot showers, delicious food and wine, and comfy beds were fantastic!
I had only heard of the OT six months beforehand but I knew instantly it was something I had to do.
The beauty of the wilderness and the mountains and the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere is breath-taking. Every day is different and a new adventure.
We had a small group of six people plus our two guides brothers Will and Pat. We all got along really well and quickly became friends. Will and Pat are a great team! Such nice young men - hardworking, easy-going and thoughtful, cheeky and fun-loving. The perfect combination for our group! I would not have wanted any other guides! Their knowledge and love of the outdoors shone and it was really nice being in their company in that beautiful environment.
We had so many laughs and had so much fun! It was sad saying goodbye and I miss everyone.

The weather! Except for our last morning we were very lucky. However even walking in the rain was nice.
