Just a quick one to let you know that our walk from February 7th-12th was one of our life's highlights so far.
We have done quite a few long distance independent full pack hikes over the years, including the 4 day Freycinet Peninsula Circuit 3rd-6th February 2013, finishing the day before the Overland Track, and this was the first guided walk for us since we did Mt Rinjani on Lombok, Indonesia 20 years ago.
Can I then say that our hike with Cradle Mountain Huts was BRILLIANT! Worth every cent and definitely worth our while recommending it to friends(although I dont know how many could do it!). Cradle Mountain Huts is a VERY professional organisation-we could not fault any part of the experience. In particular, our guides, Kinara Johnson and Joe Shrimpton, were amazing-knowledgeable, unbelievably fit, caring and patient as they shepherded our group of 60+ year olds, intelligent and fascinating to talk to, excellent cooks, etc etc. They are two of the most inspirational young people we have ever met-you should be very proud and fortunate to have them as part of your organisation!
Again, many thanks for an awesome experience-it will stay with us for the rest of our lives and inspire us to do similar walks.
