Cradle Mountain / Overland Track    October 2013

Walk review from Peter Gibson, Cradle Mountain / Overland Track

The holiday experience of a lifetime.

Snowy mountains, clear glacial lakes and streams, button grass plains, rainforest, eucalyptus forest, lichens and mosses, wallabies and wombats. James and Nicky were great guides and the huts were warm and comfortable with excellent food and we had a great group of co-walkers. Some reasonably tough walking, mud and the occasional leach added to the experience. Prepare, have good comfy worn in waterproof boots, climb Mt Ossa if you can and you won't regret a minute.
