Cradle Mountain / Overland Track    November 2013

Review by Peter and Leith Wallace, Cradle Mountain / Overland Track

What a great adventure.

Being on the wrong side of 60 I was a bit apprehensive about taking on the Overland Track after being offered the trip by our daughter.

It would be an understatement to say the ever-changing panoramas of the World Heritage Area were stunning but the continual snippets of information regarding flora, fauna, geology and history provided by our guides just topped it off.

Thanks to our wonderful guides Rob, Alice and Ryan (3, weren't we fortunate) we had the trip of a lifetime.

They really made the trip something special and are great assets to your company.

I think I would struggle carrying all my sleeping gear, food, stove etc., however the Cradle Mountain Huts experience made it a real pleasure.

Thank you Cradle Mountain Huts for making something so special available and enjoyable to someone who would probably struggle otherwise.
