FOUR GLORIOUS DAYS IN PARADISE
We were a group of five American women on the Bay of Fires Trek. What a wonderful experience. It was the first trekking trip for most of our group. The guides, Jose and Adrian, were extraordinary. They were open, warm, informative and amazing cooks. They worked extremely hard to make our trip safe, relaxing and indulged. The beaches and headlands we hiked were pristine and the weather cooperated – all blue bird days.
We could not believe the meals our guides prepared for us. The food was outstanding and always presented beautifully. The Lodge was beautiful and its staff were also very professional and accommodating. The Spa certainly added the extra touch of indulgence and elegance. The other four participants in our group of 9 hikers were wonderful people and we enjoyed their company and getting to know them. All in all it turned out to be a very compatible group - a memorable experience
One of the highlights of our trip was Darelene who really made the experience for us. Our favourite moments were when the rest of the group walked ahead and we stayed with Darlene hearing about the local plants and wildlife. Continue
