Cradle Mountain / Overland Track    March 2026

Walk review from Sandii, Cradle Mountain / Overland Track Tasmania

My experience with Tasmanian Walking Company absolutely exceeded my expectations.

I went in thinking I was heading out for a hike… and instead found myself climbing Cradle Mountain, Mt Oakley and then Mt Ossa all in one unforgettable week. As an adventure girl, this was my dream combination - thrilling, challenging, and the kind of excitement that makes you feel alive.

Being fit and capable enough to take on these exhilarating climbs, supported by guides who are fun, informative, comical and incredibly safe, was reassuring and empowering. The people you meet along the way are like‑minded, so you’re guaranteed to walk away with meaningful connections as well as sore legs.

And the food and huts? Five‑star. Absolutely incredible. Tas Walking Co. have put together a team (Brayden, Sammy B & Maggie) that not only delivers on their vision, but somehow manages to deliver on mine too.

Would I go again? Yes. Without hesitation.
