As of May 2022, Red Feather Inn is undertaking its new adventure as the exclusive home and walker base of selected Tasmanian Walking Company walks.
Going hand-in-hand, these two well-loved Tasmanian brands complement each other as pioneers of the ‘Tasmanian Experience’. Showcasing the very best that Tasmania has to offer and going the extra mile are elements that we believe will elevate your experience with Tasmanian Walking Company at Red Feather Inn.
As a walker base, Red Feather Inn will be a perfect first and last stop for walkers embarking on our Cradle Mountain Huts and Bay of Fires Lodge Walks. Nestled into the charming and historic Hadspen, The Red Feather Inn has been lovingly restored and faithfully preserved to retain the heritage and historic feel of its quaint 5-bedroom guesthouse and 3 charming multi-bedroom cottages.
Before your trip, settle into the Tasmanian Walking Company way of life, indulge at our in-house restaurant, featuring a curated menu sourced from local ingredients. Toast to your upcoming adventures with our pick of Tasmanian cool climate wines and get to know some fellow walkers. Wake up on the morning of your walk with no need to rush. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and take some time to finalise your pack, as our guides get everything ready.
On your return, come back to familiar comforts. Settle in for the night in one of our heritage listed cottages, soaking away all of your sore muscles in one of our deep bathtubs.
