Ecotourism Gold and Tasmanian Tourism Hall of Fame!
Our team are beyond thrilled to have been awarded Gold in the Tasmanian Tourism Awards in the Ecotourism category for a third-year in a row! This year’s achievement marks a massive milestone for our team as we have also been inducted into the Tasmanian Tourism Awards Hall of Fame for our continuous commitment in the ecotourism space.
From our expert guides out on the track all the way through to our accounts team in the office, this award is a massive achievement for everyone at Tasmanian Walking Company and the amazing work they do in showing guests epic landscapes while caring for the wild places that we walk through.
From our team
“A big part of what we do is encouraging our guests to care and connect to the places that we walk through… It’s a massive honour and it shows that we are doing stuff right! We are pretty passionate about what we do… so to be given this nod is a massive pat on the back” Heath Garratt — General Manager, Tasmanian Walking Company
“The team are so stoked to receive the Gold in Ecotourism from the 2023 Tasmanian Tourism Awards. We all work super hard to connect people with the special places of lutruwita Tasmania, whilst working to honour planet Earth by finding ways to do and be better. Awards like this help us know we are on the right track!” — Safety, Environment and Community Manager, Tasmanian Walking Company
